Sabato di miglioramenti per il team MV Agusta Forward Racing che fa un passo avanti rispetto alle libere del venerdì e va vicino a strappare l’accesso alla Q2. Miglioramenti cominciati nel mattino per Stefano Manzi durante le FP3, pur non riuscendo ad accedere direttamente alla corsa per la pole. In Q1, poi, il pilota romagnolo dà battaglia ma non riesce a passare il turno: il suo giro in 1’36.342 resta fuori dalla top 4 per meno di un decimo e lo vedrà scattare dalla 7a fila domani. Dall’altro lato del box Simone Corsi non riesce a risalire la classifica, chiudendo in 1’36.760, tempo che gli vale la partenza dall’8a fila in griglia. Appuntamento fondamentale domani mattina con il Warm Up alle 08:50 per trovare ancora qualche piccolo miglioramento in vista della gara, in programma sull’ormai familiare tracciato del Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” alle 12:20.
EMILIA ROMAGNA GP – ONE STEP AWAY FROM Q2
Saturday of improvements for MV Agusta Forward Racing team, which did progresses from Friday’s practice sessions and got very close to the access in Q2. Stefano Manzi went faster since morning’s FP3, even tough he couldn’t succeed the direct access for the battle for the pole. In Q1, then, the rider from Romagna fought hard well but didn’t make it on advancing at the next session: his lap at 1’36.342 stood out the Top 4 for less than 1 tenth of a second. He’ll start from 7th row tomorrow. From the other side of the box, Simone Corsi didn’t rise the grid: with his lap in 1’36.760, he’ll start the race from the 8th row. Will be now fundamental the Warm Up appointment tomorrow morning at 8:50 AM, in order to find any improvement for the race, that will begin at 12:20 PM in the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”.
